Dave is... a Leeds fan

Dave is responsible for technical implementation and systems design, and provides technical project management for many of our major developments.

Dave has more than twenty years experience in the IT and computing industry. He is a certified engineer and solutions provider for Microsoft, Cisco and Apple Macintosh enterprise applications. Dave also has a broad range of experience with Windows Server systems and applications, Mac OS systems, Unix systems, Cross-platform integration, and software and database programming.

Dave combines IT, computing and engineering experience with a proven track record in the publishing and design industry having previously worked for Pindar Plc. He has also provided extensive IT consultancy and enterprise solutions to Oxford University Press, Bookseller, and other large publishing houses.

Walter is... a United fan

Walter is Business Development Manager for Selcom. He is responsible for generating new business as well as liaising with existing clients to ensure high quality of service and product is consistently maintained. He provides an important link between customers and the technical side of the operation and seeks to understand clients specific business needs and objectives. This business-orientated approach leads to solutions which help streamline operations and increase revenue and profitability.

Walter has over twenty years experience working in various roles as Designer, Trainer, Account Manager, Project Manager and Head of Production within various publishing and computing industries. This blend of 'hands on' and Senior Management experience, enables Walter to provide extensive IT consultancy and enterprise solutions to both small and large organisations.

Adrian is... a Forest fan

At a technical level, Adrian is responsible for all Internet technology based solutions. He provides project management services for our major Internet and intranet developments and has built enterprise data and information management solutions within a number of different technical environments.

Adrian has worked with Internet technologies since 1994 and came to Selcom from a dot com Internet company where he was Head of Technology. He has extensive experience in a number of mark-up and scripting languages.

Adrian has built and managed large corporate information services for a number of local government organisations and delivered the Local Government Associations' national 'LGAnet' project covering intranet, extranet, and Internet systems. Adrian combines new media and Internet technologies experience with an information management background – he has formal professional qualifications in information science.

Steve is... a Spurs fan

Steve is Technical Support Manager for Selcom. He is responsible for all system implementation and enterprise rollout projects. Steve leads on all project support issues related to desktop installations on the Apple Macintosh platform.

Steve has over ten years experience working with Apple Macintosh systems in the publishing and computing industries. Steve came to Selcom from the Law Society Gazette and combines a high level of Apple Mac qualifications with a real understanding of the publishing industry, and more specifically, of the editorial and production cycle.
